5 Student Athletes Earn Scholarships to Continue Athletic Careers

swimmer Kyle Kimerer, signing to swim at Canisius College
in Buffalo, New York and major in accounting.  Kyle holds a
4.0 GPA and has been a two-time State Qualifier.  He earned
All-Ohio honors both years, was an AAC first-team selection
three years and a 4-time Northeastern Ohio First Team
selection.
Next is Jenna Vivo signing her letter of intent to compete in
women’s golf at Youngstown State University where she will
major in biology.  She holds a 3.7 GPA and qualified to the
State Golf Tournament in her sophomore year.  Jenna was a
2-time first-team AAC selection and a two-time first-team
Northeastern Ohio selection.
The next three boys have been an integral part of the most
successful boys golf team in Boardman school history.  Brian
Terlesky is seated next to his cousin, Jenna Vivo.  Brian
signed his letter-of- intent to continue his golfing career at
Youngstown State University where he will major in
business.  He is a four-time State Qualifier and earned 2nd
Team All-Ohio honors his junior year.  Brian is a 3-time AAC
first team selection, 3-time AAC Player of the Year, and a 3-
time All-Northeastern selection.  He also holds a 3.5 GPA.
Cade Kreps is seated next to Brian and will also continue his
golfing career at the University of Akron and major in
business.  Cade holds a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.  He was a
3-time State Qualifier, 4-time first team AAC, 2-time All
Northeastern Ohio first-team selection and the 2016 AAC
tournament champion.
Bryan Kordupel signed his letter-of- intent to continue his
golfing career as a Penquin at Youngstown State University.
 He holds a 4.0 GPA and will major in mechanical

engineering.  Bryan is a 2-time State Qualifier, 2-time first
team AAC, and 2-time All Northeastern Ohio selection.
Congratulations to these outstanding student/athletes.
