Join with other K-6 students around the country to celebrate our freedom of choice by casting ballots for the President of the United States. Will the kid vote be the same or different from the adult vote? It will be interesting and fun to find out! K-8 classrooms as well as homeschoolers are welcome to join.

What to Do
1. Register your class anytime between August 10 and November 1 by emailing the following information:
Name
State and City
School
Grade level**Please write in the subject line: Election 2008 Registration
**Please keep checking back to the site. I will not be sending out emails to confirm registration or to remind you to send in your results. You will know when you are registered when your name appears on the Participants page.2. Email any teaching ideas, election-related web sites, book titles, etc. to me at any time. I will post them at this site.

3. Hold a class election in any manner you choose.
How to Submit Your Results
1. Submit your results via email between October 20th and Election Day, November 4th. ALL results should be received by the end of Election Day--9:00 EST.
2. Include the following information in the email:
Name
State
School
Grade level
Total number of votes
Number of Democratic votes
Number of Republican votes
Number of "other" votes (if any)3. **Please write in the subject line: Election 2008 Results
