Over the coming weeks, Boardman Local Schools will be implementing REMIND 101, as the official tool for communication between administrators, parents, teachers, coaches, advisors, and students.  

With REMIND, educators can send messages instantly from their phone or computers while students and families have the option of receiving messages by text, smartphone app, or email.  Please read on for more details about how to use REMIND and how to delete old accounts. 

BOARDMAN AWARDED PARENT MENTOR GRANT--APPLY HERE! job opportunity graphic, hiring new parent mentor position

 Boardman Local Schools has been awarded Ohio’s Parent Mentor Project grant from The Ohio Department of Education!  

This $25,000 grant allows Boardman Local Schools to hire a part-time parent mentor to provide free support and resources to families of children with disabilities.   If you are interested in applying for the position, please read on.

WAY TO GO SPELLING BEE WINNERS! BCIS spelling bee winner Lily Blackburn and Runner up Layla Crawford

The BCIS Spelling Bee was held on Friday, January 10th in the large auditorium.  Seventy students in grades 4, 5, and 6 participated in this event having been selected based on their performance on a spelling test of 30 challenging words given in October.

What does a moose, a lion, a fox and a raccoon have in common?  They are all driving in cars on a brightly colored tie blanket on its way to a child at Akron Children's Hospital (Beeghly Campus).
