BCIS student artwork was selected to be displayed in a month-long show at the Trumbull Art Gallery in Warren featuring k-8 artwork from across the Valley. Center Intermediate Art Teacher Kate Sears says at least 18 pieces of art were displayed at the TAG Gallery. Mrs. Sears said it was so exciting for these 4th through 6th graders to invite their families and friends for an ‘opening night’ at the gallery on March 4.
“Nine of my students came with their moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas to enjoy an evening of art,” said Sears. “Boardman was one of only two Mahoning County schools to make the trip to Warren for the show, and some even made a night of it, including a dinner stop for Sunrise Pizza.”
The student art show at the Trumbull Art Gallery ran from March 4-26. It's located at 158 North Park Avenue in downtown Warren.
