Meridian Services - OMNI Program

Meridian HealthCare’s Omni Program is an innovative prevention education program that will focus on four specific areas of prevention within Boardman School District; on-site counseling, prevention education lessons in the classroom, PANDA Leaders Club, and professional development for staff and administration. The word Omni means “all, every, the whole, of every kind” which represents this program’s approach to prevention. Instead of just emphasizing one area of prevention, this innovative, four-pronged approach to prevention provides the awareness, education, and tools needed for students, staff, administration, and families in the Boardman School District to address the important issues facing them today. Every student will have pivotal moments in their life where their choice could lead them down two very different paths. While we can’t always be there when they are confronted with that moment, together, Meridian and Boardman Schools can prepare the students and provide them with the resources they need to make the healthy decision.
