Congratulations to Glenwood's Honor Roll Students for the 4th quarter!



Summer Meals Available Every Wednesday at BHS lunch graphic

Boardman Schools Meal Distribution will continue every Wednesday, all summer from 11AM until Noon at BHS.

All children ages 1-18 are eligible, and they do not need to be a Boardman resident.

Each child will receive 7 breakfasts, and 7 lunches.

All are welcome regardless of income, and meals are free.

Come to Door #9. *Child does not have to be present.

GLENWOOD CELEBRATES GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAY BY PAINTING THE SCHOOL!! Mr. Smith, Mrs. Frost and student leaders with paint rollers and paint in front of panels

Students and staff at Glenwood Junior High are excited to participate in a Global Youth Service Day project aimed at transforming their own school. The BGJHS Paint Project will  bring back the “maroon” hue that some say has been missing from Glenwood since the 1990’s.  


Boardman Glenwood Junior High is one of only 5 Ohio schools recognized by the Ohio EPA as a Branch Award Winner for 2020.  The Branch award recognizes schools for their commitment to environmental education, and for actively participating in the 3 R’s--Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Glenwood Junior High Media Club is a group of students dedicated to letting people know what's happening at BGJHS. 

They take photos and write stories, and now have added a new spotlight called "Teacher Features".

Mobile Beacon Connect for Success Technology Grant Extends for 2020-2021 laptop with hotspot

Glenwood Jr. High students can continue to use the laptops and hotspots provided by the Mobile Beacon Connect for Success Grant through the end of this school year.  Glenwood received the $15,000 grant last  year that provided 25 computers with 25 hotspots with wireless internet for one year.
