News & Announcements

Congratulations West Blvd. Elementary: Two-Time National Blue Ribbon School!! National Blue Ribbon School 2020 Emblem

West Boulevard Elementary School is honored to be named  a National Blue Ribbon School 2020.  U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos this afternoon (Sept. 24) recognized West as one of only 367 schools in the country to earn the prestigious honor, and one of the very few in the nation to have won the award twice.

WAITING FOR WORD: WEST UP FOR NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON AGAIN

Today (Sept. 24)  at 1 pm, the US Department of Education will announce the National Blue Ribbon Schools Award winners.  This video was competed last spring, right after the Ohio Department of Education nominated West for this honor.  Kudos to Dalton Lewis, BSTN student and Class of 2020, for producing a great video that truly captures why West Blvd. is on the list!
