Boardman video production students who run the cameras during Spartan home football games and provide all the great coverage the fans see on the Spartan Stadium Video Board, had quite an exciting experience on September 13. Spartan grad Briana Harris invited the group for an extensive behind the scenes tour of the Browns' Press Box and Control Room at FirstEnergy Stadium.
The students had an opportunity to talk with video production professionals, including Motion Graphic Artist Rich Hanchette, about the training it takes to put together what we all see on game day. The hours and work involved, the deadlines, and the amount of staff needed were just some of the topics. The pros painted a great picture of what a video career with the Browns would be like.
Ms. Harris graduated from Boardman in 2011, and worked for the Miami HEAT before joining the Browns last year as a Group Account Executive.
