MARCH 17 UPDATE: MESSAGE FROM SUPERINTENDENT SAXTON

Spartan families,

For families who missed Monday’s meal distribution, there will be a distribution this Thursday, March 19 at West Boulevard and Robinwood Elementary Schools from 10 am until 2 pm.  This distribution will be breakfast and lunch for two days. Again, it will be a drive-thru style pickup in the school parking lots for those families who missed Monday’s distribution.

We plan to hold another 5-day meal distribution for all families on Monday, March 23 from noon until 7 pm or until our supplies run out. This distribution will again be held at West Blvd. and Robinwood elementaries.

Also, Monday, March 23 is the next drive-thru student materials pickup at our school buildings (March 30th for BCIS) for those students who are working primarily with paper/pencil. Online based students will not need to visit buildings on Monday.

In the best effort to practice social distancing per state and federal recommendations...

All Boardman school buildings are now closed to the public until further notice.

However, phone lines to the buildings and central office will be staffed daily from 8 am until noon.

For families who cannot make the pickups for food or educational materials, please contact your school building’s main office. Arrangements will be made to assist you.

I highly recommend you visit our District website for the most up to date information.

With the changing conditions, we continue to strive to be flexible to serve the needs of our Spartan students and their families.

Let’s all continue to wash our hands and open our hearts.

Tim Saxton

Superintendent Boardman Local Schools
