Boardman Schools Mask Mandate Remains in Place/ New Quarantine Option Released by ODH

Mask update

On October 25, The Ohio Department of Health announced  a new COVID-19 quarantine alternative for K-12 school settings.  This is specifically an alternative for schools having to contact-trace and quarantine students as part of not having mask mandates or mitigation procedures.  The guidance is a recommendation set forth by the Ohio Department of Health, and it is not mandatory.

Boardman Local School District's current guidelines and mask mandate remain in place until further notice.

Boardman is currently reviewing the Ohio Department of Health's new quarantine option and how it might impact our District.  The Superintendents' regular meeting with the Mahoning County Board of Health is scheduled for October 27, where the new option will likely be discussed.  Until further notice, the Boardman Mask Mandate will remain in place.
