Trend data over the past 5 years show the district’s highest Performance Index at 104.1, a letter grade of B for the school district. The measurement reflects the test results of six levels of achievement: Advanced Plus, Advanced, Accelerated, Proficient, Basic, and Limited. The higher the achievement, the more points awarded in the district index. This provides a reward for improvement in performance.
In addition to improving student achievement, the district has also shown above average progress in the area of Value Added. The metric reflects how much a student learns in one year. Overall, Boardman students achieved more than one year’s growth earning the Value Added grade of an A. In addition, students identified as gifted also attained more than one year’s growth earning an A.
