ALL Boardman residents with a child who turns 5 before August 1, of 2025--You are invited to Boardman Schools' first-ever Kindergarten Kickoff on Wednesday, February 19 from 5-7 PM!!
There will be plenty of fun for the kids with games and activities including a Spartan Swag Bag & photos with Sparty. Parents will be able to learn more about our three National Blue Ribbon elementary schools, as we welcome them to the Spartan family!
The program will be held at Boardman High School at 7777 Glenwood Avenue. Boardman families are invited to stop in anytime between 5-7 PM, but please note, an informational presentation from principals and staff is set for 5:45 until 6:15.
Official In-person registration is March 6, 2025 at each elementary school from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and 3-6 PM. Please have your online portion completed via FinalForms before March 6.

Welcome to the Boardman Local School District!
Please be advised that all new student enrollment requires an appointment in our Enrollment Office, now located at Central Office inside Boardman High School. At this appointment, parents or legal guardians must provide all required documents to complete the registration process.
STEP ONE: You must file your personal information online in FinalForms. Click here to get started: http://boardman-oh.finalforms.com. All required documents except birth certificate and custody papers should be uploaded to FinalForms. Click Here for steps to complete FinalForms
STEP TWO: Once your online forms are completed, call the Enrollment Office at (330) 259-7189 to make your appointment to bring in any additional documentation and to register.
Kindergarten Registration on the "in person" registration day is the only exception to this required appointment.
The custodial parent/guardian MUST be a resident of the
Boardman Local School District.
Accepted Proofs of Residency
Please present two documents from the following:

IF YOU ARE A HOMEOWNER:
- Mortgage Statement
- Most recent Property Tax Bill
- Homeowner's Insurance Statement
- Purchase Agreement with Mortgage Statement to be submitted after closing on sale of home
IF YOU ARE A RENTER:
- Current Lease Agreement that includes the address of your residence and the signature page
- Renter's Insurance Statement

- Government document showing the parent/guardian's address, including but not limited to : benefits received from Job & Family Services, Social Security Administration, or Bureau of Workers' Compensation
- Utility bill: Gas Electric, Water, Sewer, Garbage, Internet
- REAL ID- Compliant driver's license
- Pay Stub/W-2 Form
- Credit car statement
- Car insurance statement
- Car loan statement
- Student loan statement
** It is preferred that one of your documents is from the first column. All documents must be in the name of the residential/custodial parent or legal guardian with a service address that is the same as their residential address and include the date that must be within 30 days. **
The following items will NOT be accepted as proofs of residency:
- Non-compliant driver's license

- Tax forms
