Glenwood Jr. High Orchestra Plays for 'Red Kettle' Campaign

Boardman Glenwood Junior High Orchestra students will spend their Saturday morning playing holiday favorites as they team up with the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign. You’ll find this extra “holiday sparkle” as you grocery shop at Sparkle Market in Boardman. 

On Saturday, December 7 from 10 AM until Noon, a dozen members of the junior high orchestra will perform at the Sparkle Market on Western Reserve Road.  They will be playing as a community outreach to help raise funds for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign. 

According to the Salvation Army, the proceeds are used to “help fund the life-transforming programs and services that provide food, shelter, rehabilitation, disaster relief and much more for our community’s most vulnerable.”

The students will perform holiday favorites such as Frosty the Snowman, Trepak from the Nutcracker and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
