Glenwood Receives $10K Classroom Grant

Every Boardman classroom at Glenwood Junior High received a big surprise on Thursday morning, September 14.  As part of the Subaru Loves Learning Initiative and in collaboration with AdoptAClassroom.org, Subaru is adopting 49 classrooms at Boardman Glenwood Junior High and providing a $10,000 donation.

That's approximately $200 each- to Glenwood teachers to purchase supplies for the school year, in addition to 20 pre-made Boardman Subaru supply kits that include pens, pencils, markers, dry erase markers, earbuds, wipes and more.

“This is the 6th year Boardman Subaru has partnered with Boardman Glenwood Junior High.  Over the years Rob Fellman and his team have brought us box loads of school supplies, science books, and generous help with our natural habitat garden in the school courtyard,” said BGJHS Principal Lori McCreery. “It has made a great difference for our staff and students.”
