Orchestra Fall Pops Set for October 23!

The BHS Classical, Symphony, Chamber, and Project Mayhem Orchestras will hold their annual Fall Pops Concert on Wednesday, October 23 at 7 PM in the Boardman Performing Arts Center.

Admission donation for the concert is $4 for Adults and $2 for students. Senior citizens and children 10 and under are admitted free.

The Classical and Chamber Orchestras will open the concert. Senior Amie Nguyen will be featured as the violin soloist as the Chamber Orchestra performs the theme to the historical dramatic film “Schindler’s List” composed by John Williams. Seniors Matthew Amendol and Hannah Austin will be featured as cello soloists in the first movement of Vivaldi’s “Concerto for Two Cellos in g minor”. Symphony Orchestra will close their portion of the program with a medley of Scooby-Doo, Ghostbusters and Monster Mash when they perform “A Rockin’ Halloween”.

Boardman's Rock Orchestra, Project Mayhem, will perform a short set of rock songs. This unique group is known for selling out the BPAC for their annual Spring Rock Concert and filling the stands at Spartan Stadium for their May performance. This performance will feature vocalists Kate Congo, Nina Hudock, Cameron Keffer, Lydia Kenney, Lucas Mitchell, and Allison Young.
