WEB "Where Everyone Belongs" is a student mentorship program that is nationally recognized, and meant to aid the transition of incoming students to middle school. Our sixth grade student ambassadors are chosen to welcome all new 4th graders to BCIS at an orientation before the start of classes. Mentorship activities continue through the school year, including lunch days, and other events.
The WEB program builds confidence and leadership skills in our 6th grade mentors, and provides support and guidance for incoming 4th grade students. Similar to the LINK CREW in the High School, this transition program is an evidence based and proven support and anti-bullying measure.
