Four Boardman Center Intermediate School students were among the 22 winners recognized for the Annual “Stay In School” Poster Contest sponsored by the Mahoning County Juvenile Court Advisory Board.  They were recognized at the Embassy Banquet Center on November 7. The theme this year was “ My Super Power At School is…” and for two of Boardman’s winners, they chose “Kindness” as their superpower.

Jordyn LaCivita took second place and Zavyer Magada won Honorable Mention in the 5th grade division, while Ivy Webster placed 3rd, and Nozima Ibadullaeva was awarded Honorable Mention in the 6th grade division.   Boardman winners received certificates, and earned gift cards from $50 to $125.
