Good afternoon Spartan Seniors,

This is your principal, Cindy Fernback, with some special announcements for our Senior Class.

First of all, Commencement will be as planned on Sunday, June 7th.  The health department has given Ohio schools three options, and we have selected option three, which is an in-person, one-family-at-a-time, diploma presentation that will take place in The Spartan Stadium.  There will be very strict rules for this event guided by health department regulations.  Each graduate will be permitted to bring only four guests. 

Specific instructions for commencement will be distributed on Cap and Gown pick up days scheduled for Wednesday, May 6th and Thursday, May 7th of next week.  This will be a drive-thru pick up at doors 8 and 9 on the north side of BHS.  

Students whose last names begin with letters A-K will pick up on Wednesday; students whose last names begin with letters L-Z will pick up on Thursday.  Pick up times are noon until 3:00 p.m.

Checks should be made payable to Boardman High School.  The costs are as follows: 

Full Set--$25; Extra Tassel--$5; Honors Stole $10


Other items that will be distributed on those two days are specific instructions for commencement, an admission parking sign for commencement entrance, scholarship reporting form, final transcript request form, and we are very hopeful that our Senior Shirts will be here for distribution as well.
