Congratulations to Stadium Drive Elementary and West Boulevard Elementary, they are 5-Star Award-Winning Schools!!
In early April, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce recognized both schools with the Overall 5-Star Building Award for their performance on the 2022-23 Ohio Traditional Report Card. Only 362 school buildings across the state received the 5-Star award. There are more than 3,100 school buildings across the state of Ohio.
This honor is awarded to schools that exceeded state standards by earning an overall 5-stars on the Traditional Report Card for their performance across the following five rated components:
- Achievement
- Progress
- Gap Closing
- Early Literacy
- Graduation

Glenwood Junior High's Annual Family STEAM Night is expected to be bigger and better than ever!!
On Thursday, April 25th from 6-8 PM, the gymnasium will be packed with STEAM activities, hands-on stations for students of all ages to try. Like Stop-Gap animation, 3D Pens, Robotics competitions, Arts/Crafts, maker space projects, and so much more.
There will also be local artists, coffee, cookies and cakes, and the popular Tre's Gourmet Food Truck. You do not need to have a child who's attending Glenwood to attend this fun filled family event. It's a chance to see all the STEAM opportunities available at BGJHS, and try some of them out for yourself.
