Henry Gomez is a political reporter for NBC News and has some special connections to Boardman Schools!
Henry is a 1999 graduate of Boardman High School, who says he fell in love with news writing as early as the second grade at Market Street Elementary.
Today, he lives in Medina, near Cleveland, but travels the country gathering political stories that NBC uses for Web coverage. He also has a niece who's one of our 3rd grade budding reporters on the West Wisdom news staff, Selena Farrah.
In mid February, Gomez visited the class, and talked about his job, and his experiences--from writing for the Boardman High School newspaper, the Bugle, to the Warren Tribune, then Cleveland Plain Dealer, and now NBC.
