Boardman Schools is celebrating a generous contribution that will directly benefit students at West Boulevard Elementary.
Burlington Stores has donated $5,000 through its partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org in honor of its new Boardman location at 461 Boardman-Poland Road.
The funds will be evenly distributed to teachers' classrooms and enable them to purchase essential school supplies for now and future use. The funding will support more than 25 classrooms including art and physed at West Boulevard Elementary.
“On behalf of the Boardman School District and West Boulevard, I would like to thank Burlington for the opportunity to bring more resources into our classrooms,” said Principal Al Cervello. “We look forward to a great partnership with Burlington in the future and to encouraging our students to find new ways to volunteer in the community.”
