Spartan Stadium will be closed to the public beginning Wednesday, June 3, 2026, as construction crews begin a major turf replacement project.

The closure will remain in effect through mid-July 2026 while the existing playing surface is removed and a turf field is installed. During this period, access to both the stadium and the surrounding track will be prohibited to ensure the safety the public and contractors.

School officials ask all students, athletes, staff, and community members to respect posted closures and avoid entering the construction area while work is underway.

Updates regarding the project's progress and the anticipated reopening date will be provided as construction continues. Barring unforeseen delays, Spartan Stadium is expected to reopen for public use in mid-July 2026.
