Boardman High School students and staff showed their generosity on November 3, as the school hosted its first American Red Cross blood drive of the school year. Every appointment was filled, with a waiting list of additional donors!
The event is organized with the help of the BHS Student Council, whose members assist with planning and volunteer throughout the day to support the Red Cross and help keep the drive running smoothly.
A second blood drive is already planned for the spring, with the possibility of a third this school year depending on student and staff interest.
We are proud of our Spartans for stepping up to give the gift of life and help the American Red Cross meet the ongoing need for blood donations. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered or helped make the November 3 drive a success!
