Kindergartners at Stadium Drive celebrated Memorial Day through song this morning, honoring those who serve and have served our country. After weeks of practice, students delivered a performance that was equal parts adorable and meaningful, reminding us all of the importance of gratitude and patriotism.
Our youngest performers brought such heart to the stage, and that is a direct result of the incredible preparation and work happening behind the scenes by our kindergarten teachers to make this special show possible.
We truly live in a great country, and this Memorial Day weekend, we take time to reflect, remember, and be grateful for those who have sacrificed for our freedoms.❤️🤍💙

👩⚕️🩺👩🍳Today was an incredibly hands-on Career Day at Boardman Center Intermediate School.👨💼👩✈️
💥More than 30 careers were represented, and students got far more than just a presentation—they got real experience. They didn’t just hear about being chefs, they made crêpes. They didn’t just learn what nurses do, they practiced CPR skills. Students tried on firefighters’ gear, got a close-up look at police equipment, and explored careers in exercise training, brand management, sales, veterinary medicine and so much more.
From one station to the next, curiosity was everywhere as students asked questions, tried new things, and imagined what their own futures might look like.
A big thank-you to all of the volunteers who took time to share their careers and help make today such a meaningful experience for our students.
